Reading PathsSix routes, depending on what brought you
The Library sorts by subject. This sorts by situation, a short ordered sequence for the reasons people actually arrive.
Each path is three to six pages, in order, with a reason for the order. You are not required to finish one. Read the first page and stop if that was what you needed, several of these are designed so the first page is the whole answer for most people.
If something is frightening you right now, take the first path and nothing else. It is ordered so the most useful thing comes first.
And if what you are dealing with is your body or your mind rather than your practice, not sleeping, not eating, hearing things, or a fear that will not lift, When to Seek Care is the kind, non-dismissive place to check. That is not a lesser answer. It is frequently the right one.
“I'm afraid I'm cursed”
Or hexed, or attacked, or that something has attached to you. Something is wrong: that part is real, and nobody here is going to tell you that you imagined it.
- Hexes & CursesStart at §03, the uncrossing, taught in full and free. Do it today if you want to. Then §04 sets the “signs of a curse” beside the symptoms of depression, gently, because the overlap is almost exact.
- When to Seek CareSleep, appetite, a fear that will not lift. This is here second because for a meaningful number of people it is the answer, and it is treatable.
- Spiritual Protection & HygieneGrounding, cleansing, warding, closing, the practices themselves, so you have something to do rather than only something to fear.
- Why It Feels AccurateIf somebody told you this about yourself, read how a stranger comes to seem uncannily right about you.
- Finding an Ethical PractitionerIf you are going to pay anybody, read this first. Anyone who found the curse and then priced its removal is the subject of §06 of the first page.
⚠ If you were told not to tell anyone, tell someone anyway. That instruction is the single clearest sign you are being worked on rather than helped.
“I'm just curious”
The feed is a fog and you want to think clearly about it. This is the path that makes every other page easier to read.
- How to Read This ResourceTen minutes. The six provenance tags, and why every page teaches the practice before it examines it.
- Why It Feels AccurateThe Forer effect and cold reading. Start here rather than with any particular system. It explains the feeling of being seen that sits underneath most of them.
- The Ideomotor EffectThe one mechanism in this whole library that is settled science. Pendulums, boards, dowsing, muscle testing, and you can test it at your own kitchen table in ten minutes.
- What Is Magic, Really?A better question than “is it real?”
- The Coherence GridWhat does a practice actually reach? Useful for making sense of why something helped a little and then stopped.
- The LibraryThen go wherever you like. Nothing depends on anything else.
“I'm grieving”
You have lost somebody and you are thinking about mediumship, or signs, or contact. That is one of the oldest and most human reasons to be here.
Feeling that a dead person is present, in the room, in a chair, briefly glimpsed, is ordinary. A large proportion of bereaved people report it, across cultures. It is not a symptom and you are not doing anything wrong.
And bereavement research now agrees with what these traditions always did: maintaining a relationship with the dead is normal and frequently healthy. You do not have to let go of anyone.
- Guides, Angels & AncestorsStart with §02, ancestor practice, taught in full. A place, a time, something they liked, speaking to them out loud by name. It costs nothing, it needs no practitioner, and it is yours already.
- MediumshipBefore you pay anybody. The grieving are the most targeted people in this field, and this page explains exactly how a reading comes to feel like contact.
- Finding an Ethical PractitionerIf you decide to sit with someone. Green flags, red flags, and the questions to ask before you book.
- When to Seek CareGrief and depression overlap, and grief that has stopped moving is worth talking to somebody about. No urgency, no alarm, just a door, if you want it.
“Someone I love is in deep”
A partner, a parent, a friend, an adult child. They are spending money, cutting people off, or following someone. Read this path in this order, the first page is about you, not them.
- Spiritual Abuse & High-Control GroupsThe mechanisms, and how they look from inside. Read it to understand rather than to argue, the pages on how these structures work will tell you why arguing is the one approach that reliably fails.
- Finding an Ethical PractitionerWhat good looks like. Steering somebody toward better is far more effective than steering them away from bad, and this gives you something to point at.
- Hexes & CursesIf money is going to somebody who found a problem in them. §06 walks the con step by step, and §11 counts what it actually costs.
- When to Seek CareIf you are worried about their health rather than their beliefs.
- The Spiritually Gifted ChildOnly if the person is a child, or was told as a child that they were special.
✦ The thing most likely to help: stay reachable. Isolation is the mechanism, every structure described on these pages needs the people who love someone to give up first. Being the person who did not is worth more than being right.
“I want to start practising”
You want to actually do something, and you would like to do it without hurting yourself. The order here is deliberate. It is closing before opening, and foundation before technique.
- Spiritual Protection & HygieneFirst, and not as a formality. Grounding, cleansing, and above all closing. Most harm in this territory comes not from opening something but from never closing it.
- Shadow Work & BypassingThe foundation. What you have not looked at, you will meet out there and think something did it to you.
- What Is Magic, Really? So you always know where the power actually lives.
- Spiritual ToolsBefore you buy anything. You need nothing: water, salt, a candle, a pen. It also lists which stones on the shelf are genuinely poisonous.
- The Practice of MagicThe risks, the ethics, and the harm-reduction floor. Including how to stop, which almost nobody teaches.
- Opening the DoorLast, and only if you are going there. Invitation, closing, and what every serious tradition converges on.
“Someone is selling me something”
A reading, a clearing, a course, a retreat, a package. You want to know whether it is worth it before you pay.
- Finding an Ethical PractitionerThe questions to ask, and what the answers tell you.
- Why It Feels AccurateWhy the free reading that convinced you felt so specific.
- Hexes & Curses§06 and §08. If they found the problem and they are selling the solution, the whole shape is documented there, including a federal fraud prosecution.
- Spiritual ToolsIf it is objects. “Charged,” “activated” and “consecrated” are things you can do yourself in a minute, for nothing.
- Spiritual Abuse & High-Control GroupsIf it is a person or a group rather than a single purchase.
⚠ The one-line version: did they find the problem, or did you? Almost every scam in this library begins with somebody telling you about a problem you had not noticed.
None of these fit
Then ignore all of it. The Library lists every page grouped by subject, and you are welcome to simply start wherever a title catches you. Nothing here is sequential and nothing assumes you read anything else first.
You do not have to place yourself anywhere to be allowed in.
